Like looking into a dream. My works take the figure, one undeniable commonality between us all, and suspends them into what feels familiar. And yet, an undeniably distorted depiction of reality. Does our consciousness come from the same place our dreams do? Is our subconsciousness dancing the line between realities? Only to wake in the morning to the hazy memories. By capturing these memories, lived and dreamed in my works, I’ve created a window Into my soul. Using ink and nib, watercolors, oil paints, digital software, and traditional tattoo methods.
